麻豆社区app In颅su颅lated Pipe Scan (KIPS) is a port颅able, real-time ra颅dio颅graphic ima颅ging sys颅tem that scans through insulation to determine the con颅di颅tion of un颅der颅ly颅ing pipes.
KIPS cap颅tures video and im颅ages that high颅light prob颅lems as颅so颅ci颅ated with pipes (i.e. cor颅ro颅sion un颅der in颅su颅la颅tion, mois颅ture and ice). Res颅ults are re颅cor颅ded in real-time, al颅low颅ing in颅stant ana颅lysis.
The sys颅tem provides a fast, ac颅cur颅ate con颅di颅tion ana颅lysis of in颅su颅lated pipe without the need to re颅move clad颅ding or in颅su颅la颅tion. This res颅ults in sig颅ni颅fic颅ant cost sav颅ings 鈥� by min颅im颅ising the time taken to identify is颅sues with the pipe, remediation works can be performed sooner.
KIPS al颅lows rapid test颅ing of in颅su颅lated pip颅ing, cov颅er颅ing up to 200m per day. The sys颅tem can be used on pipes ranging from 20mm 鈥� 1,200mm, with in颅su颅la颅tion ran颅ging from 10mm – 150mm. The system can be used on insulated pipes with temperatures ranging from -200oC to 700oC.
KIPS can be used on a wide range of insulation materials, including fibreglass, mineral wool, closed & open cell foam injection, PUR & PIR and acoustic barriers as well as fireproofing materials such as asbestos, Chartek and FENDOLITE.
The portability of the system enables pipes in any location to be tested using rope access.
